Poké Ball inspired cell phone / tablet cozy crochet pattern. POKEMON cell phone case // POKÉ BALL cozy crochet pattern.

-✿ Pattern adjustable to any cell phone or tablet

-✿ LEVEL: EASY


YARN: Worsted Weight Acrylic yarn in black, white and red.
YARDAGE / GRAMS: Less than 125 yards / 50 grams of each color.
HOOKS: 5.00 mm (H) crochet hook.
OTHER: Yarn needle or sewing needle and black thread.

GAUGE: 14 hdc and 14 rows= 4 inches (10 cm)

Used stitches and abbreviations (American terms):
ch
: chain st: stitch 
sl st: slip stitch 
sc: single crochet
hdc: double crochet

PATTERN

Using a measuring tape around the phone measure the “horizontal contour” and “vertical contour”.
In this case it’ll be 15cm x 27,5 cm.
Divide the horizontal contour by 2.
With the white yarn make a chain that measures half of the horizontal contour. In this case it’ll be 7,5 cm.
- Join all the rounds with the first st with a sl st and continue in the same direction. The first stitch should always be in the same stitch as the join from the previous round -

Step 1: ch 1, hdc in each st until the end of the row. When get to the end continue crocheting on the other side of the chain the same amount of sts as the foundation chain has. Sl st in the first hdc.

 

Step 2: ch 1, hdc in each st around. Sl st in the first hdc.
Step 3: Repeat Step 2 as many times as needed to complete about half of the cozy. Then change to black.
Step 4: Repeat step 2 twice. Change to red.
Step 5: Repeat step 2 as many times as needed to complete the cozy. Finish off.

BUTTON

With the white yarn make a magic ring.
Rnd 1: Ch 1, sc into the ring, ch 2 –count as a dc-, 11 dc into the ring, close the ring, with the black yarn sl st in the first dc. Turn.
Rnd 2: Ch 1, 2 sc in each st around, sl st in the first st.
Sew the button to the cozy with the black yarn.
